The Noble Bamboo is one of the ‘Four Gentlemen’ or ‘Four Seasons’ of Chinese Brush Painting.
Said to be one of the singularly most important subjects, Bamboo represents Summer and was the first subject painted by China’s earliest Gentlemen Scholars.
This lesson has step by step instructions for each element of Bamboo including the all important bone stroke. This lesson is a must to paint like a true Literati.
