Description
Camellia
This lesson consists primarily three different images with painting instructions around the image, as here:
Brush: Northern Wolf Big Idea
Moisture: Medium
It doesn’t get any simpler than this. The secret? Keep the White at the tip of your brush by working it into just the tip. The water in the heel of the brush will be your medium to pale tone.
A rough, interesting branch painted with your Mountain Horse brush (dry)will be the finishing touch.
Adding a tendril loosens everything up. The paper showing through adds an interesting detail without half trying. The center of the flower is a series of half moon strokes.
The next three layers are formed by pointing the tip toward the perimeter, pressing down then lifting.
