Description
Morning Glory
One variety of Morning Glory, the ‘Blue Flower’, is often called ‘Heavenly Blue’. Another Blue is the ‘Blue Dawn Flower’ with intense Blue flowers which have been compared to a tropical sky. They turn Magenta with age.
Other colors are Pale Red, Wine Red, Pink, Purple and White.
Most varieties have heart shaped leaves … how perfect!
This annual flower twists its way upward to a glorious ten feet. Because of its great height and delicate nature, the plant must be supported by a trellis or pole. That fact, when shown, brings a strong, contrasting element to your painting.
