Description
Peony
Learning balance and understanding the basic hexagon shape are covered in the Peony lesson.
A Royal Experience in China, the Peony was known as the ‘King of all Flowers’ and the epitome of ‘saucy nobility’. The Yellow Peony, is known as the ‘King’s Flower’; Yellow was the Royal color.
The Peony is magnificent in royal appearance and complex in its structure and conception. An initial approach to mastery of this blossom requires serious study. But it is a royal road – and infinite fun … infinite satisfaction … infinite delight! This study introduces you to the royalty of the Peony’s effulgent beauty. The satisfaction is in the approach to this study: it must be courtly, respectful, noble and serious. (Well, maybe not too serious.) Royalty deserves no less.
